Natural, Effective Desensitization of Allergic Conditions

Why spend a lifetime avoiding certain foods you’re allergic to, when you could be desensitized in just a few weeks?

Once we’ve identified key allergic factors in our tests, Manchester Allergy Practice then offers clients natural, safe desensitization using bespoke desensitizing remedies. Safe for babies, toddlers, children and adults.

The desensitizing remedies target the key allergies and are taken generally one week at a time, each remedy targeting and resolving one allergen at a time. The aim is to restore the body to a healthy balance.

The remedies are easy to take, two drops under the tongue and allergic factors can potentially be resolved within a matter of weeks.

Desensitizing remedies are generally just 10 each.

We are easily accessible across the North West near central Manchester, so if you're looking for a Food Sensitivity Test Bolton, Liverpool, Warrington, Sale, Altrincham, Trafford and beyond, just get in touch!

What is an Allergy?

An allergy can be defined as an abnormal response by the immune system to the environment, where the body’s environment can be defined as anything that can be touched, eaten, drunk, breathed or injected.

When looking at a food allergy sensitivity test or wider allergens, it’s important to understand the symptoms a client is experiencing. The allergic reaction can result in any of the following across men, women, children, babies:

- Skin disorders such as hives (urticaria), eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis
- Digestive disorders such as reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea
- Respiratory conditions such as hay fever, asthma, rhinitis, sinusitis, breathing problems, tickly cough
- Eyes, ears, nose, throat problems such as red itchy eyes, fullness in the ears, consistent sore throat
- Candida Albicans overgrowth resulting in vaginal or oral thrush
- General fatigue with headaches, migraines, constipation or diarrhoea, swollen joints, mouth ulcers
- Stress – contributes to feeling tired, the body is responding to excessive pressures with the autonomic nervous system and endocrine system, a response by which the person can feel constantly tired

Some allergies, especially certain food allergies, are masked as there is no immediate allergic reaction. These allergies build in the system for hours or days and slowly affect health over a period of time without people realising the true cause so it’s important to deal with allergies sooner rather than later. These delayed allergic reactions are sometimes called food intolerances.

However, food intolerances can also be defined as those people who may have a digestive factor missing in the processing of a certain type of food – lactose food intolerance occurs with people where lactase is sufficiently absent in digestion, causing a food intolerance immune reaction.

Our Food Sensitivity Test Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Sale, Trafford, Liverpool, Altrincham and beyond has over 400+ food related allergenic sensitivities within it, and this forms part of the Allergy & Food Intolerance sensitivity test.

Your First Appointment - what to expect

Your first appointment is friendly, informal where your Allergist will conduct a consultation to start with. Questions that arise may cover:

- Health History
- Any operations
- Current Medication
- Symptoms you're suffering from
- Correlations with family history of health

This takes about 10-15 minutes. You speak freely, in your own time so the Allergist can fully understand your background.

Once the Allergist has completed the consultation, they will explain the test process, very straight forward.

The Food Intolerance and Allergy Sensitivity Tests that Manchester Allergy Practice offers are non-invasive (no needles) and cover food sensitivities, environmental sensitivities, household sensitivities, pet sensitivities and much more. Wider health is also reviewed as this can sometimes have an effect on allergies and intolerance.

The results are immediate, and the Allergist will go through key findings and key 'causal factors' that the Allergist feels may be contributing to your condition. It is then your choice whether you wish to try desensitization or just try avoiding the identified foods and see if you feel better.

A full report is then sent to you with a recommendation on diet, any vitamin or mineral deficiencies, review of digestive enzymes, fatty acids, amino acids and more. It's all explained to you in writing so you have a clear understanding of what to do to help get back to good health.

We offer Food Intolerance and Allergy Testing Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Stretford, Trafford and across the North West.
